    BIOGRAPHY: Aliana Marie Galan

Aliana Marie Galan, born in Jersey City, NJ and raised in a single parent home by an art teacher from Puerto Rico, she got her fair dose of culture and celebrates her roots with pride. At the age of eighteen she got her taste of the stage as Maria in the classic musical West Side Story, her performance was recognized by the critics of all the major publications in New York and New Jersey, and immediately a star was born. She has gone on to perform in numerous productions and plays since then and has earned a BA in English and Theatre from New Jersey City University.

On the television circuit, you can catch her on E-Asylum an entertainment show on Comcast, doing red carpet interviews for movie premiers and junkets. You can also catch her as the host of Radioactive Cinema, a chiller-theater style program that spotlights the best in B-movie thrillers on Comcast. Her face has been featured in television, film, and magazines and will be appearing in her latest project, an independent thriller, Sawaru coming out in the fall. Aliana has also just completed a tour with the New York cast of the play, Platanos and Collard Greens and is on the prowl for her next project.

Lately Aliana has been in the studio recording a few demo tracks for an up-coming album. If you want to listen to her at the club one of her songs, which is in a different genre than her album, Think About the Music, is played in popular NY dance clubs.

Today she continues to study her craft with an undying devotion to perfect it. In addition to her acting, singing and dancing, Aliana also creates Picasso-like collages, and hand made one-of-a-kind shirts that have been displayed in art festivals in NJ and featured in marketing proposals and staged productions.

You’re guaranteed to see more of her in the future.
